Family Foods Awards Banquet

Family Foods takes care of their family. Not just the people who work directly in the office, but their extended family to all Taco Bells. Every year, they have an Awards Banquet. Everyone gets a chance to dress up, have great food and good entertainment from the presenters. There's always lots of laughs and lots of tears. Harold was presented with his 5-year service award and with a great surprise this year. He was awarded the Hugh V. Taylor Award for "Outstanding Effort and Contribution". Mr. Taylor is Mrs. Matthews father, who built the very first Taco Bell in Fayetteville in 1971. This is a great honor! Harold has told me stories about "Pop" and the ball of fire he was. Harold is very honored to receive such a prestigious award from the Matthews. Harold loves his job and cannot wait to get back to work full-time without any speed bumps in his way. Harold is the only person I know that is checking emails the day BEFORE brain surgery and talking on his cell phone the day AFTER brain surgery. work, work, work... And he fusses at me because I'm always working at home. Some pictures from the banquet...

I love this picture!
Hey Look - There's Kim eating....thanks David!!

And the tears began...

This shot took a while...why do they always make you cry and then cut the lights on!?

Harold and Mrs. Matthews were admiring Mr. Taylor's picture on the plaque.
